About Us
unionvilledepot.com designs and builds model railroad controls and precision
electronic measuring instruments.
We are family owned and operated, and located in the
217-year-old Village of Unionville, Ontario, Canada, a few miles northeast of Toronto.
We concentrate on designing & manufacturing those things that we wish we could have bought
when we started in this hobby.
We have a small G-Gauge garden railroad and an even smaller N-Scale
indoor layout.
Our first product, released in late 2007, was an inclinometer, used to re-level the track
after our annual spring thaw rearranged it.
In 2011 we released our LaserActiveTM product line.
All of our products are designed and built in Canada.
The products are invented, prototyped and debugged in Unionville, Ontario.
The circuit boards are designed in Mississauga & fabricated in Toronto.
We use components from as close to home as possible and populate the boards in Mississauga.
Final assembly, testing, etc. is done in Unionville.
